2013 is the starting year for the implementation by vocational and adult education institutions nationwide of “Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education” which is proposed by the Eighteenth CPC National Congress. On March 18, the Ministry of Education convened the video conference on Vocational and Adult Education. Lu Xin, the deputy Minister presented and made remarks on the conference. The conference concluded the realistic bases for development of modern vocational education, analyzed the current new situations and tasks and identified annual priorities centering on the acceleration of modern vocational education.（Annex）
