The revolution of 1911 led by Sun Zhongshan overthrew the governance of Qing Dynasty, and founded the Republic of China. Under the promotion of urgent demand for technical talents of the development of national capitalism and the new culture movement that vigorously advocated democracy and science, it became a high voice to vigorously boost vocational education, which conduced to the upsurge of theoretical construction and practical exploration of vocational education. A large number of social elites wrote books and essays and vigorously advocated and practiced vocational education, which laid solid foundation for the construction of modern vocational education system of China. Meanwhile, under the lead of CPC, the development of vocational education serving revolutionary struggle also manifested marked characteristics.
